Project 2:
Funding/Country: Ghana, World Bank IDA CR 2604 and Government of Ghana (First) Community Water and Sanitation Project
Client: Ghana Water and Sewerage Corporation (GWSC)
Name of Project: Small Towns Water Supply in Brong Ahafo Region, for Small Towns: Awisa, Miremano, Donkro-Nkwanta, Ayomso, Derma.
Main Features: Water supply system for small rural town for community ownership and O and M. Educating the Community on Hygiene and Sanitation, Developing the Organisation of the Community to make their financial contribution to investment and the operation of the water supply system: provision of a new supply system for 5 small towns (each population 6000 -15000)
Type of service: Education Programme, Community institution development, hydrological survey, water sourcing including supervision of ground water drilling. Design of Water Supply, Structures, Tender documentation, Supervision of construction, start-up of management and technical operation of the supply system in Association with Architectural and Engineering Services Corporation (AESC).
Project 3:
Country/Funding: Ghana, Village Infrastructure Project, (IDA, KfW, ADB)
Client: Village Infrastructure project, Atebubu District Assembly, Ministry of Local Government.
Name of Project: Studies, Design and Construction Supervision of Parambo/Sawaba Water Supply Scheme.
Main Features: Provision of new water supply system for small town, consisting of floating intake from river, treatment plant, pumps, transmission line, overhead storage tank, distribution network.
Type of Services: Participatory planning, design of scheme, geotechnical and hydrological studies, design, estimate of investment and O & M cost, facility management plan, tender documentation, contracting, construction supervision, start-up management.
